Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro athlete. She's also a coach and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the sole female in history to have won in the CrossFit Games two times. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She was the first female winner of in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at when she was a young age. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years (as of 2021). She is 5'7" and her weight is approximately 67kg. Annie began CrossFit at the age of 7 in California. Annie did very well in her initial competitions, placing within the top 10. She did not take home an award and ended with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. Following that, she participated again in CrossFit competitions and due to her outstanding performance she was able to win the competition as the very first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie is the only female to ever win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. Also, in 2014, she won a Silver Medal as well as, more recently, in 2021, she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is presently a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie, who is gaining fame for her athletic abilities is featured in ads for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and others. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie" and has more than 1000 viewers. This is the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
