David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir as well as for the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he's an anchor co-anchor. The most viewed news show that airs in America can be described as his spectacular program that features gossip about celebrities, animated gestures and video clips. In addition, he has the Emmy-nominated show Made In America. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, him was the principal substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. His primetime reports on ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees and America. He has reported on news across the world, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He has been awarded several Emmy Awards, Edward R.
