Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. She was raised by her mother and her father, in USA. She was subjected to racial remarks and being made to feel unwelcome. After entering a ninth-grade school audition where she received high praise for her voice as she built confidence. It not only increased her confidence but her dreams transformed. In 1992, she earned her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. In 1993 she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was called You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot, she played the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as critical praise. In the following year she was cast in the role of the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame. A singer by profession, she's also produced one single and an extended work. Additionally, she works as an LGBT activist.
